Torreby Castle was built in 1887 as a summer palace by squire
and merchant Nils Georg Sörensen. The castle and the park were designed
according to English ideals. Best known is Torreby for its golf course,
where the castle serves as a club house and a public restaurant.
Torreby GK is the oldest golf course in Bohuslän with
a magnificent view of Bohusläns largest fjord, Gullmarsfjorden.
