Archipelago food for people (and dogs!)

When you step into Franses pub in the archipelago, you get a real sense of history from the days when fishing was the main income for the people on the island. The old workshop of Frans the netmaker is now an atmospheric, popular restaurant that serves lunches, dinners and good drinks. You can enjoy a seafood dish or hamburger in the tar-scented interior with a glass of wine or one of about 50 different beers while seated among the recycled herring barrels and fishing nets. Live music is also arranged from time to time.

Four-legged friends are also welcome at Franses, which are served everything from small snacks to big bones - and beer!

Franses Skärgårdspub can organize your conference or wedding reception. You can book a half-day or full-day conference, or a two-day conference with an overnight stay in external accommodation in double rooms. Maritime group activities

Do something special during your stay, like lobster fishing or a seal safari, or maybe a guided tour out to the lighthouse on Vinga. Enjoy a 10-course menu in an archipelago setting or prepare your own catch from the local sea. Drinks tasting can be arranged along your own wishes. All local transports can be organised, whether it is by rapid RIB, slow schooner, bus or car.
