Before heading out exploring Lake Vänern or travelling Göta älv towards Trollhättan, stay at Vänersborg's Guest Harbour and Marina. Here you can refuel your boat, buy any parts you need and stay the night and explore the beautiful city of Vänersborg. When you stay at the guest harbour you are only a few minutes walk from Vänersborg city center and many popular attractions such as the Park Skräcklan, Vänersborg's Museum, the Water Palace and more. Here you have access to laundry room, showers, WiFi and more during your visit.

Boat shop and boat service

A boat accessory shop is located in the same premises as the guest harbor office. Here you can find most things for the boat, such as oil, spark plugs, bottom paint, RF screws, sea charts, life jackets etc. The port office has staff and all the service expected in a guest port.

The staff at the guest harbor can carry out simpler repairs in the marina/port while larger works are carried out in the workshop hall. Here you can also get help with winter storage, plastic/hull work, transport as well as boat lifting and launching.

Bicycle rental

Vänersborg's guest harbor and marina has 7 bicycles for rent.

The marina rents out bikes:

• Until 31/5: Wed - Sat 10am-5pm
• 1/6 - 12/6: Tues - Sat at 9am-6pm
• 13/6 - 7/8: Every day 9am-6pm
• Do you want to rent other time? Call the harbor and ask!

Prices 2023:
SEK 250/ 24h rent
SEK 200/full day
SEK 150/half day (4 hours)

Canoe rental

If you want to get out on the water and glide along the lake, we also have a canoe for rent.

Parking for mobile homes (until 31st of october 2023)

Welcome to Vänersborg's centrally located Motorhome parking. The parking lot offers a level of service with marked parking on hard surfaces. The spot has electricity, water, service building with fresh water, latrine emptying, shower, toilet and laundry in direct connection to the spot.

If we are not on site, it is fine to pay in our payment machine or via the app specified on the machine. We are always available by phone.

The parking spots are open until 15th of september with access to toilet/shower, electricity etc.
Between 15/9 – 31/10 the spot is open, but the showers are closed. There is access to toilets, electricity, etc.
