TTELA published its first issue on December 4, 2004, after the two newspapers Trollhättans Tidning, TT, and Elfsborgs Läns Allehanda, ELA, merged into one newspaper. ELA was founded in 1885, and TT was founded in 1906. TTELA is an independent liberal newspaper that delivers both local and international news in print and online.
TTELA is the daily newspaper that keeps you updated on everything happening locally in Vänersborg and Trollhättan, as well as in the rest of the world. TTELA reports on both big and small events, investigates current topics, and serves as an important platform for debate. Online and on mobile, we keep you updated with the latest news, while in the print edition, you can find in-depth coverage and background on current events. TTELA reaches over 90,000 readers per week.
TTELA is also part of Stampen Media, which includes titles such as Bohusläningen, Strömstads Tidning, Hallands Nyheter, Hallandsposten, Göteborgs-Posten, and eight free newspapers. Together, these titles have a reach of 81% in Western Sweden (A31-35), equivalent to 909,000 people.
