This scenic golf course just by the waters of Vanderydsvattnet, just outside Trollhättan, is considered by many to be one of Sweden's most beautiful courses. The lake is always close by as you play and on many of the areas you will have a great view of the beautiful Koberg Castle. 

Koberg Castle

Koberg Castle lies on the opposite side of the Vanderydsvattnet lake and is more or less in sight wherever you are on the golf course. The castle has an interesting and exciting history and is still active in the fields of agriculture, forestry, hunting and game care. The castle is however not open to the public, but in November every year there is a popular Christmas market around the castle. You can read more about the castle here. 

The golf course

The golf course opened in 1964 and first consisted of nine holes. These have since been extended to 18 holes. The course is easy to navigate and have challenges that suit all categories of golfers. There is also a well-stocked shop and you can enjoy a meal with a wonderful view of the course and the lake in the restaurant. Parking for caravans and cabins for rent are also available. 

Golf around Lake Vänern

Koberg Golf Club is included in the Golf around Lake Vänern card, which is a card that allows you to play golf at several golf courses around Lake Vänern at a reduced price.
