Spikön Guest Harbor
Trollhättan

The Spikön Guest Harbor is located on the beautiful Spikön (Nail Island) and on the opposite bank you can see the Standgatan street in central Trollhättan. This guest harbor is an independant guest harbor and is therfore not included in the lock fee. The guest harbor is 200 meters north of the drawbridge that connects Spikön to central Trollhättan and about 150 meters south of the railway bridge, you can walk over the bridge and follow the track to the train station of Trollhättan. From here it is walking distance to not only the city center but also many popular tourist attractions.

Here there are 30 berths and the guest harbor has a new service facility with showers, toilets, and laundry facilities. Access to electricity. Here you can also find a café and a themed playground. The café serves among other things simpler sandwiches, coffee, hot dogs, soft drinks tea and ice cream during the summer months.

Attractions within walking distance!

On Spikön

Spikön is a beautiful green oasis surrounded by the waters of the Göta river. Here you have a view of the Strandgatan promenade in central Trollhättan. On the island there are also many nice attractions for you to visit. Close by there is a popular playground called Skrotnisse's playground.

Trollhättan's Waterfall area

It is only 10 minute walk to Trollhättan's fall area. Watch as 300 000 liters of water per second flow in the otherwise dry riverbed. The water is only released at specific times during summer, read more here (due to the ongoing energy crisis there will not be any release of water in the falls during the summer of 2023 except for during the Fallens dagar (Waterfall Days) festival between 21-23 July). We recommend you to stand on the Oscars Bridge for the best view. 

Close by the Trollhättan waterfalls are other attractions such as the hydropower station Olidan, the nature reserve Älvrummet and the open air museum of Forngården.
