Beaver safari with canoe in the beautiful Ecopark Halle- & Hunneberg

On summer evenings, we embark on an exciting exploration in the beautiful Halle-Hunneberg Ecopark. By canoe, we navigate enchanted lakes where beavers live, build, and gather. As we approach the beaver's territory, we glide silently closer. We quietly watch the shore where the beaver busily builds its lodge.

Join us on an exciting adventure in West Sweden's only Ecopark, Halle-Hunneberg! Together with a knowledgeable and enthusiastic nature guide from Destination Halle Hunneberg you will learn more about the beaver, this fantastic architect, and its constructions. Did you know, for example, that the beaver can detect scents in the water? Or that they can build lodges up to two meters high?

Safari in a canoe

The safari is a canoe tour that requires sturdy shoes/boots and weather-appropriate clothing. The safari lasts 3-4 hours and starts at 6:00 PM from the Royal Hunt Museum Älgens Berg. The tour requires participants to sit still and quiet for extended periods and is therefore not recommended for children under 7 years old.

Note! Swimming skills are required for all participants.

Beaver Safari 2024

The Royal Hunt Museum offers regular tours during the summer of 2024 from June 24th to August 22nd on Mondays and Thursdays at 6:00 PM. Pre-booking is required, booking is only via the web.
