Trollhättan Action Week - A week of competitions
Welcome to Trollhättan Action Week between August 23-31, a week filled with competitions in a whole range of different sports. There will be challenges for everyone - run, cycle, roller ski or inlines. The biggest highlight is of course the world's biggest competition in roller skiing - Alliansloppet, which starts in the unique Watefall area in Trollhättan.
The highlight of the week - Alliansloppet
Alliansloppet was first held in 2007 and the roller ski race has since developed to a real festivity both for participants and for the audience. The race starts in the unique Waterfall area in Trollhättan and then run on a track measuring 16 kilometers. There are three distances to choose from; 16, 32 and 48 kilometers.
Alliansloppet is divided into two different starts:
Fitness races: 16, 32 and 48 kilometers.
Competitive/Elite race: 48 kilometers
Many more experiences during the week
But there is so much more to experience during the week such as the popular Trollhättan City Trail race, which is a 10.5 kilometers long race that goes along paths and stairs in the beautiful Waterfall- and Locks area in Trollhättan. There will also be several roller skiing competitions during the week and much more to look forward to.
Important
During this time there will be areas of the Waterfall- and Locks area in Trollhättan that will be closed to car traffic. Mostly along the Åkersbergsvägen road connecting the city center with the Trollhättan Waterfalls.
