Join us for an exciting day of oysters and culinary delights! Watch as Europe's top oyster openers compete for the title. Explore the Food and Craft Fair, featuring local flavors and cooking demonstrations. Savor fresh oysters from Havstenssund at our oyster bar or indulge in a variety of dishes in our restaurant, Lilla NOVA.

 

MAIN STAGE

12:00 PM - Opening Ceremony
Introduction of competitors and the jury.

12:15 PM - European Oyster Opening Championship - Qualifying Round
Six heats with 24 competitors from 13 nations compete for eight semi-final spots.

3:15 PM - European Oyster Opening Championship - Semi-Finals
The eight best from the qualifying round compete for four final spots.

4:30 PM - European Oyster Opening Championship - Final
The four best from the semi-finals meet in a decisive final.

4:45 PM - Viking Race - Oyster Opening Relay
Five teams with three competitors per team open 30 oysters against the clock.

5:00 PM - Award Ceremony
The European Champion will be crowned!

 

 

 

FOOD STAGE

12:30 PM - Honorable Awards - Protected Geographical Indications
From Parmesan and Parma ham to blue mussels and veal. What do our Swedish delicacies have in common with the European ones?

1:30 PM - Flavorful meeting between local producers
Christoffer Florén from Albert Kök Hotell & Konferens cooks with Kullans lycka and Ehrenhofers gård.

2:30 PM - Seaweed - the new green
Karolina Martinson from Algblomman and Linnea Sjögren from Catxalot give tips on how to use seaweed and algae in everyday life.

3:30 PM - Perfect pralines
