Let yourself be charmed by Dalsland’s natural surroundings in glass cabins at Dalslands Aktiviteter. With forest and lakes all around you there are masses of exciting activities just around the corner.
Are you looking for unique, secluded and eco-friendly holiday accommodation? At Dalslands Aktiviteter you can stay in architect designed glass cabins set in the Dalsland’s stunning natural surroundings. The cabins are on a promontory with a spectacular view of Lake Iväg. Sitting on your bed, it’s easy to dream the days away, and as the light fades you can listen to the sounds of nature.
Some of the things that make the accommodation climate smart:
Local collaboration. Bedclothes are washed at the nearby Rikstvätt Bengtsfors laundry for instance, which washes with low energy and low water use, eco-friendly chemicals and uses fossil fuel free transport.
We make it easy for guests to make smart choices and minimise the use of single use articles.
The activities on offer have almost no climate impact.
The best time to visit Dalslands Aktiviteter is April to October.

Food – Game meat from our own shop
The food served at Dalslands Aktiviteter takes its inspiration from the forest and lake’s natural pantry. Everything is prepared as far as possible from locally produced ingredients. The centre has, among other things, its own game production with a shop selling elk, deer, wild boar and mouflon meat.
This is where the food served comes from:
Breakfast bread is baked at Dalslands Aktiviteter.
The potatoes are grown in Värmlandsnäs, a peninsula in Lake Vänern.
The eggs come from Torggummans Ägg, a family run business in south Dalsland.

Carbon footprint calculation – how the climate is impacted by your holiday
Let us assume that there are two of you living in London and wondering where to go for your holiday this year. You want to have a comfortable stay, eat well and experience something memorable. We’ll show you here how much you can save the climate by travelling to Inforest instead of a standard hotel somewhere else in Sweden. You can also see the CO2 emissions caused by different travel options.
The calculation includes return transport from London for two people, and accommodation. The result is shown per person in the diagram.
