The food here is cooked with a large portion of passion, to be eaten with delight. The restaurant is certified by A Taste of West Sweden. This certification is reserved for restaurants, producers and farm shops which offer sustainable and genuine west Swedish products and fine dining, all based on local seasonal produce.
Guest studios in the sea
Follow the pier out to Bockholmen, where one of the museum's five guest studios awaits you. The studios are built on pillars in the water and their shifting silver facades merge with the rocks and hills, with the ever-present wind, the calling of the gulls and the smell of the sea. The guest studios are for people who want to spend the evening surrounded by beautiful paintings.
Experience art and create it yourself
Wake up refreshed and enjoy breakfast at Vatten before you stroll around the art in the museum. Reflect on the paintings yourself or follow a guided tour. If your creative side is awakened, you have the opportunity of testing paints and brushes in the open workshop.
