Hälsans stig is accessible to everyone

In collaboration with the Swedish Heart-Lung Association, Tidaholm municipality has created a "Hälsans stig" (Path of Health) from the Ringleden. This pedestrian-friendly loop, without a designated starting point, is approximately 5.5 km long. There are connecting routes through the town center. The goal is for this to be a safe and secure walking path that encourages many to engage in physical activity, is well-signposted, and is accessible to everyone.

Along the trail

Along Hälsans stig, each kilometer is marked with a sign, allowing you to track your progress. In between, there are signs indicating the direction of the trail, regardless of which way you are walking. You can obtain a map at the Tidaholm Tourist Office, at Matöppet, or in Tidaholms City Hall. The map is also available for download here.

About the concept

The first Hälsans stig (Path of Health) was established in Ireland in 1995. Today, there are approximately 130 paths in Sweden.
