Villa Akvarellen, which lies on the coast road between Fjällbacka and Bovallstrand, is an informal bed & breakfast in a renovated house from 1931. You can stay in a room here or rent the whole building for a party, wedding reception or kickoff.

Artistic coastal village with sea-oriented activities

The coastal towns of Bovallstrand, Hamburgsund and Hunnebostrand are your closest neighbours, and Villa Akvarellen B&B is beautifully situated in the artists’ community of Gerlesborg. The salty sea is only a few steps away and there are plenty of activities such as swimming, fishing, walking, cycling and island-hopping. The Gerlesborg School of Fine Art is right next door and arranges exhibitions, courses and concerts. A short trip by car will take you to the rock carvings at Vitlycke, Nordens Ark and Smögenbryggan.

Informal accommodation, café and stone-built oven

The Villa Akvarellen was built in 1931 and has been a Bed & Breakfast since 2012. The house has 5 double rooms as well as some family rooms. Most of the rooms are on the second floor and all of them have shared spaces, showers and toilets. In the summer season you can also buy stone baked bread in the café.

Villa Akvarellen is well-suited to business events and larger parties with family and friends. Rent the whole house and arrange a great event in a genuine coastal environment, with both the sea and lots of art a stone's throw away.
