Skärgårdsidyllen Kayak & Outdoor has its kayak centre in an old boathouse in Grönemad, Grebbestad. You are supplied with clean, fully equipped kayaks and SUPs, adapted to your size and weight, for comfortable and safe paddling at sea.

Popular paddle tours

Skärgårdsidyllen offers a range of guided kayak tours all year round for beginners and experienced kayakers. Choose between archipelago kayaking, national park kayaking or winter kayaking. Travelling through the rugged Bohuslän landscape in its beautiful winter wardrobe is a very special and peculiarly exotic experience. Double kayaks are also available, as is a tour specially adapted for families with children.

Take the plunge - slip into the magic world of kayaking! Start with one of the popular courses where you learn the basics of kayaking before progressing to more advanced paddle techniques and safety at sea.

Kayak Weekends and Sustainable Paddling

From September to June, Skärgårdsidyllen offers tailored experiences such as Kayak Weekend – paddling packages based on requests for individuals, groups, and companies.

Skärgårdsidyllen is more than a kayak center – it’s a lifestyle, where sustainability goes hand in hand with living life to the fullest. This is done in harmony with nature, which has led to the creation of, among other things, the non-profit association Hållbar Skärgård. Skärgårdsidyllen also works professionally as nature conservators, mainly during the winter months, and offers beach cleaning events for companies and individuals.

Skärgårdsidyllen won Tanum Municipality’s Tourism Award in 2019, was nominated for the Grand Travel Award Eco-Tourism Prize 2025, is affiliated with the Swedish Canoe Federation, Hållbarhetsklivet, and the Swedish Agency for Public Management.
