Grebbestads Hostel & Minihotell is situated in the centre of Grebbestad, next to the harbour. Fall asleep to the sound of the waves and the calls of the sea gulls. It’s not easy to leave the hostel, with its fantastic view of the harbour and Otterön. The hostel has very high standards and can accommodate both small and large parties of guests.
Grebbestad’s heart
Grebbestad’s heart is the harbour and the 200 metre-long pier, Bryggan, that provides enjoyable walks by the coast of West Sweden. Discover the picturesque old village and stroll among the winding lanes above the harbour, which give wonderful views of the islets, rocks and the protected orchid meadows of Otterön. As a centre for seafood, Grebbestad has delicious meals to be savoured in its many restaurants as well as adventures at sea.
Natural and historic experiences
Tanum municipality has many natural experiences to offer. It has both coastal and mountain areas, rough seas and calm forest lakes, deep fjords and soft sandy beaches. In historical terms the municipality has much diversity. The most famous prehistoric remains are the rock carvings at Vitlycke, a world heritage site protected by UNESCO.
