There is a nature suited for swimming, fishing, canoeing, hiking, beaver safaris and bike tours.

Östad is the central village of Bullaren. Here you will find a ICA-store and a gas station. If you follow the beautiful Blue-Green road south you will come to Tingvalls Eco, where you can stay and eat or visit the well-kept Echo Park. Here is one of the two passages over the expansive Bullare lakes. Around the lakes there are several swimming areas. 

At the north end of North Bullare lake is Vassbotten with the campground, general store and a restaurant inspired by the American '50s. Along the Blue-Green route, a scenic alternative to the E6, where traffic flows smoothly and nicely between Halden and Dingle. Along the way are many attractions, much of the ancient culture of Stone Age settlements, ancient forts and burial grounds, and nature attractions such as Älgafallet.

If you chooswe to stay in the area, it offers magnificent scenery, silence and diversity of experiences. Here plays the black grouse and capercaillie at dawn and here's the big beaver the dam builder. The rich fauna consisting of elk, deer, fox, lynx, wolf and the osprey, loon and buzzards.

To discover the wilderness by foot offers many memorable impression. Another way to discover the wilderness is by canoe, this transport method gives you perhaps the greatest experience of nature. You choose among Bullare lakes easily paddled water, fringed by beautiful beaches or the exciting Kornsjöarna where wilderness character becomes even more apparent. Do not forget your fishing rod and camera! The lakes and rivers in Bullaren and Kynnefjäll recognized rich in fish. Here chop perch as willing as pike. Trout caught in the deep and cold lake Långvattnet!
