Canoeing in the beautiful nature of the Assman waterway. If you choose the right day of the week, you can also go to the flea market at Gula Huset or buy locally produced vegetables in the farm shop next door.
Gula huset (the yellow house) in Uddebo is an association that’s restoring a three-storey log house built in 1892, and filling it with activities. Concerts, film screenings, markets, shops, swap meets, building maintenance, art projects, lectures, courses and public cultural events are some of the things the association does. Gula Huset also has four canoes you can rent if you want to paddle on the scenic Assman waterway, maybe to Tranemo or Strömsfors, or just take a small, winding trip around Uddebo. The price is 200 kronor per day. Lifejackets are included.
