You can choose between more basic cottages and those in the same class as a hotel. There’s a small shop on the campsite where you can buy fresh bread rolls and buns.

Hålkedalsbadet, which is right next to the campsite, has a beautiful sandy beach, a pier and diving towers - in fact, the perfect place for a refreshing morning dip and then a lazy day. You can then end the day with a walk along the waterfront into the city centre and enjoy a good dinner in the restaurant of your choice. There’s a wide range of shops that are open around the year, so browse through the charming little boutiques or pay a visit to one of the major retail chains.
