Kobbungen
Strömstad

A variety of different natural environments to discover.

Kobbungen nature reserve at the Singlefjord north of Strömstad consists of the peninsula Nordbytången, where you will find pine forests and nice views of the sea with the Hvaler archipelago, the Svinesund bridge and the Norwegian mainland.

The area has great values for outdoor life through its relatively untouched nature, rich plant and animal life and diversity of different natural environments to discover. Within the area there are a number of smaller paths. The area is partly hard to forge with large height differences and dense vegetation. In the ravine of Kobbungsbäck, lush mixed forest grows.

How to get there: Kobbungen is located about 20 km north of Strömstad, close to the settlement in Lervik in the Svinesund area. From the E6 you drive towards Nordby shopping center and follow signs for Lervik. Bus service is available at the mall. In Lervik there is an entrance area with information board and visitor parking with six parking spaces.

The Kobbungen Nature Reserve was inaugurated in 2014 and managed by Strömstad Municipality. Read more about the nature reserve and download information folder and map
