Rosa Huset – ‘the Pink House’
Skövde
Rosa Huset – ‘the Pink House’ – is a meeting place for various different activities in central Skövde. Here, art exhibitions are arranged for the public alongside activities for members.
Activities at Rosa Huset
Rosa Huset was built as apartments in 1862, when the railway between Gothenburg and Stockholm opened. In the early 1960s, it became a bicycle and fishing shop. Today, the house is a hive of art and creativity, as Galleri Lucifer, KAC-Kulturarbetscentrum, Skövde Konstgrafiska and Skaraborgs Konstgrafiska Verkstad all run their operations from the building.
Events and activities
In addition to courses and member activities, art exhibitions are also arranged for the public. Don’t miss the popular summer evenings featuring food and music, which are held in the courtyard each year.
