Café

A lovely café is available, seating up to 100 guests indoors. There are homemade cakes, prawn sandwiches, meatball sandwiches, waffles, and much more. When the weather is good, take the opportunity to enjoy the large terrace with stunning views over the meadows of Lake Hornborga and Billingen mountain.

Farm shop

The Mellomgården farm shop features lots of items for home decoration from brands such as Joy Zandén, Store Factory Scandinavia, Strömshaga, etc., toys from Kids Concept, women’s wear from Kaffe, and children’s clothing from Lipfish. You will also find locally produced treats such as crispbread from Knäck & Bräck, marmelades and jams from Stockuts, and much more.

Accommodation

Mellomgården offers comfortable 4-bed cottages, equipped with bunk beds, a sofabed, a kitchenette with ceramic hob, microwave, refrigerator, and TV. Each cottage has a toilet and shower. You can also enjoy a private veranda with garden furniture and a barbecue.
If you travel in a RV, there are a number of parking spaces with electrical sockets. The pitches cannot be pre-booked but are offered subject to availability.

Things to see

As the crow flies, Lake Hornborga, one of the Europe’s most important bird lakes, is only two kilometres away. Visit the exhibition at naturum Hornborga to learn more about the lake’s history, visit bird hides, and walk along the footbridges stretching into the lake. Fifteen kilometres further from naturum, visit Trandansen Information Center where you can see tens of thousands of cranes dance in March-April.

The Varnhem Monastery Church and Kata Farm are only three kilometres away. A historic adventure above the ordinary! Children’s favourite; Skara Sommarland, is four kilometres away. Scandinavia’s largest water park awaits you!
