The small farm, Hökaberg, in the village of Istrum, has been used by generations in a traditional way, and still is today.
The farm has been used in traditional ways for many generations, and was given to The Swedish Society for Nature Conservation in 2002. The aim of the foundation is to protect and preserve the pastures and haylands who are rich in species.
Road descreption: From Lerdala - follow the road to the south, passing "Flämslätt", then turn right at the sign "Götene". Follow this road for about one kilometre. Turn right to Hökaberg. Follow the old embankment for 750 metres. Then turn left and park your car by the large grass area. The pastures and haylands are on the left side, just follow the path through the forest.
