Grundsund Boat Club - Boat Club of the year 2017

The editorial board of the magazine Båtliv has appointed Grundsund Boat Club the Boat Club of the 2017 in competition with other boat clubs throughout Sweden. The appointment was made at Boat Show in Gothenburg on Saturday, February 3rd, 2018. The award is given to a boat club, connected to a boat federation of the SBU, and in its work the boat club has created good conditions for good friendship, pleasant relations, good seamanship, maritime safety and an understanding of a good relations with its members.
The explanation for the prize from the magazine Båtliv:
"Grundsund Boat Club is an example at many levels. The club offers extensive activities throughout the year, prioritizes young people, increases accessibility for all, extensive spring and autumn education and a very fruitful collaboration with the municipality. "
