Here you will find practical information and maps that you may need before you embark. Everything from right of access, to taking your bike on the train and bus, as well as tips for your bike tour.
Tips for your bike ride
Helmet - The most important thing of all is the helmet. It saves lives! And remember that children and young people under the age of 15 must wear a helmet by law.
Puncture - Remember to bring tools so that you can fix a puncture in the event of an accident. There is often help along the way, but some sections it's mostly just you and nature.
Food and water - Feel free to bring a large lunch bag with lots of goodies and plenty of water. There are places to eat along the cycle paths, but it's always good to have a little extra energy with you. There are plenty of nice coffee places to take a break along the cycle paths.
Cycle settings - Cycling for a long time takes its toll on your body. Remember to adjust the bike and the saddle so that it feels comfortable before you start. If you have the opportunity, you can test pack the bike and test cycle before the excursion to get used to having packing on the bike.
Clothing - Clothing according to the weather. Cycling can chafe a bit, so preferably don't wear jeans. Feel free to wear clothes in bright colors so that you can be seen. And in Sjuhärad there are many lakes, so don't forget your swimwear.

Take your bike on the train and bus
If you are traveling with your own bicycle and are not coming by car, it is usually fine to bring your bicycle on Västtrafik's trains and regional buses. This is free but subject to availability.
In Falkenberg, it is possible to bring the bicycle on the Öresunds train subject to availability.
Opening time for places of interest
Don't forget to check the opening hours of the destinations and facilities you intend to visit and book your accommodation in advance!
Right of access (Allemansrätten)
Allemansrätten is a unique opportunity for everyone to move freely in nature. But you also need to take responsibility for nature and wildlife and show consideration for landowners and other visitors. So don't disturb and don't destroy. Allemansrätten is limited in national parks and nature reserves. It is always you as a visitor to nature who has the responsibility to know what applies in the area you are visiting.
