Vänga kvarncafé

With flour from Sjuhärad's only mill still in operation, which also happens to be next door to the café, bread, buns and coffee are baked in the Vänga kvarncafé. The flour that made bread from this bakery is probably from the award winning mill.

In a beautiful and rural environment, the business is conducted with a great love for what is local. We suggest a walk on the adjacent Vänga marsh with its rich birdlife and exciting nature before or after your coffee break.

"The recipes are from the past and the flavors are fantastic!" How can we better describe Blommigt & Prickigt than with this quote from a satisfied customer! The place is an absolute treasure where you can spend hours in the rural environment. In addition to the cafe with its own bakery, it houses a florist and shop with handpicked furnishings and clothes.

Hemma på Källebacka

You will find Hemma på Källebacka at the gorgeous, yellow mansion just inside Lake Åsunden. On the farm dating back to the 16th century, Christina and Peter have created a meeting place for all th senses. Relax and enjoy the what the entire farm has to offer. Drink a cup of coffee with something sweet outside in the spring sun, take a stroll in the farm shop and get some beautiful flowers to take home.

Does the farm look familiar? Well, several scenes in the Änglagård films were filmed here! Källebacka Säteri is also included in the "Farms around the lake" tour.

Vings mill

Here you have a place that takes you back in time, to when the building was put into use just over 100 years ago. Then the River Viskan's rippling water drove the large mill wheels. Later, the wheels stopped turning and the building fell into oblivion for nearly 30 years. Until now.

But instead of grinding for cereals, the old building now hosts a café and a building maintenance shop. The mill has been renovated with great care and many beautiful historical details have been preserved. At Vings mill, you can settle down on one of the nice patios and enjoy fantastic home-baked pastries or a light lunch.

Crea Diem book café

When two good things such as books and coffee meet, magic happens! Crea diem book café's philosophy is that the Book Café is a meeting place - to sit down and talk to each other, drink a good hot or cold drink with home baked goods, buy a book in the bookstore, experience an exhibition, relax under the trees on a summer's day or take a walk in a cultural environment. An lovely excursion for those who want to recharge their batteries and get new inspiration.

The story of the Bruket mill began as a dream of a creative place where people can meet. A place where ideas can be born, beautiful environments can inspire, things can be experienced. In what was once a mill community, the founders of Bruket found their dream location, surrounded by large oaks, open meadows and old stone walls. As a tribute to the people who once lived here and farmed the land, the name was chosen - Bruket.

In Bruket's café, you will find a lovely lunch menu and lots of goodies to snack on. Everything is produced in the farm's kitchen and bakery. Sit in the lovely garden, the greenhouses or the old wooden villa and enjoy.
