If you are interested in golf, we recommend a round at Åsundsholm golf and country club, but if golf is not for you, then their fantastic restaurant if well worth a visit.

Food

Hofsnäs Herrgård is a beautiful manor house with water on both sides. Here you can enjoy a good lunch or a coffee with home-baked goodies. Next to the manor, you will also find their small market hall with lots of local produce. If you are more in the mood for freshly made ice cream, Café Sjöparken is also on this day trip. Fantastic ice cream is made here in both classic and innovative flavors. We of course recommend a stop at both!

Shopping

If you love shopping, then we recommend a stop in Gällstad. Here you will find several stores with unbeatable prices such as Sport shop outlet, Ivanhoe, Lager 157 and Oscar Jacobson. The Charming Hemma på Källebacka in Marbäck is also worth a stop for its interior design, recycled creations and yarn. A knitting café and game nights are also organized here every now and then.

Torpanäset nature reserve

Experience

During your day trip, you can take the opportunity to take a walk along the Tångenleden or stroll around the Torpanäset nature reserve, both of which are right next to Hofsnäs Herrgård. Also take the opportunity to take yourself back in history with a visit to Torpa stone house, which is one of Sweden's best-preserved manor seats. Along this day trip you will also find one of West Sweden's most beautiful golf courses. Åsundsholm Golf and country club which also offers a fantastic restaurant (Restaurant Åsundsholm) and accommodation options with parking space.
