How to travel with local transport to Sjuhärad

It is easy to travel to and from Sjuhärad by train or bus from wherever you are in Sweden. Herrljunga and Borås are two large junctions where several railway lines meet. From Borås, train lines continue towards Kinna/Skene, Hindås and Limmared.

From Stockholm - There is a direct train from Stockholm to Herrljunga and there you can change and continue by train to Borås and Kinna or by bus to several parts of the Sjuhärad area.

From Göteborg - There are trains from Gothenburg via Bollebygd to Borås. There is also an express bus from Gothenburg directly to Borås run by Västtrafik.

From Jönköping - Several bus companies run bus routes from Jönköping to Borås, some via Ulricehamn.

 

Nearest airport

If you are flying to Sjuhärad, you can do so easily to Landvetters Airport (GOT), which is right next to Sjuhärad's western border.
