Lökeberg
Tungenäset
The monumental rock carving at Lökeberg outside Munkedal is one of Sweden's most remarkable and interesting rock carvings. It is also one of the largest. A swarm of pictures meets us at the carving. Many of the motifs are unusual, such as the large tree and the large amount of soles. Most of the figures are carved during the younger Bronze Age, that is about 3000 years ago.
