The Visitor Restaurang & Stugby offers accommodation to suit every taste and occasion. It has 80 beds in 15 cottages as well as 16 bed and breakfast rooms. The majority of the cottages are equipped with duvets, pillows, kitchenette, toilet/shower, television, coffee machine, and microwave. When you book your accommodation, you will also acquire an “admission ticket” to the whole of Dalsland. Located in the very heart of Dalsland, Håverud is within easy reach of almost everything. Experience the impressive Aqueduct and the beautiful canal boats, which together with other pleasure boats make their way at a leisurely pace along the Dalsland Canal.
Thai buffet in the Dalsland wilderness
Deep in the ancient forests of Dalsland, the summer restaurant offers something quite different – an exotic Thai buffet. This speciality is a highly popular complement to the salmon, pizza, tacos buffet, and à la carte dishes. The restaurant can seat 60 guests, with a further 20 outdoors. The Visitor also has a small grocery store, as well as a hot dog and hamburger kiosk and a café.

The countryside around Håverud is ideal for walking, canoeing, fishing and cycling. Many people discover Dalsland by motorbike, and The Visitor runs a number of popular activities for dogs and their owners, including kennel camps and training weekends.
