Örsjön Fishing area
Mellerud
In Örsjön you can fish: perch, pike, zander, roach and brown trout.
At the north end there is a swimming area.
Fishing can be done all over the lake.
The following gear may be used: rod, jigging, casting rod, fishing by boat with no more than 4 rods per boat.
Rules for zander fishing:
All zander is protected between 1/5 and 21/6. Other times of year, measurements are at least 55 cm and max 65 cm. Protected fish shall be released. Maximum three catches of zander per day and fishing license.
Good fishing spots in Örsjön: Strömmersvik, Krokfors.
Boat launch
Boat launches can be done in Krokån at Krokfors just before Örs bygdegård.
If you find a good place in addition to the above three mentioned, then you must ask the landowner if it is ok.
