International superstars and local revues

In the heart of Mellerud is Kulturbruket på Dal – one of the many multifaceted cultural centres in the Västra Götaland region, offering visitors a range of concerts, plays, and dance performances, as well as conferences and presentations. International guest artists and popular Swedish figures from the theatre world are included in a rich and varied programme, alongside local performers and amateurs. Talks by well-known authors, rock music, classical music concerts, children’s performances, choir events, ballads, ballet, big band music, and school events – everything takes place in the 243-seat concert hall. Amateurs on stage – young and old alike!

Kulturbruket på Dal also has MusikSkaparna – a platform for enthusiastic amateurs, where young people and adults who are interested in music, singing and dancing work together to put on popular shows for the general public. To ensure everyone is included, a number of the events and activities are directed specifically at individuals with some form of functional impairment. Everyone should have the opportunity to be involved in and have access to the cultural experiences at the centre. The current programme is available on the Kulturbruket på Dal website.
