Midway between Borås and Gothenburg lies Hyssna Forest Resort, beautifully nestled deep in the forest. Here, you have three different accommodation options to choose from: The Treetop Cabin up among the treetops with expansive views. The impressive Cliffhang Cabin juts out from a large cliff, and in a picturesque ravine, by an enchanting forest stream, you'll find the Creek. Breakfast is always included in the booking; dinner as well as lunch and snack baskets are available for order.
Hike, bike, and paddle along the Hyssna Trail
Hyssna Forest Resort is located along the popular Hyssna Trail, a 40 km long hiking trail through magnificent nature. Want to experience Hyssna from the saddle of a bike? No problem - it's excellent for biking, either with a mountain bike or a regular bike. Hyssna Forest Resort can assist you with tips on bike tours and excursions, and if you want to rent a kayak or rowboat, the forest lake Trehörningen is just a few minutes away. Rent a fishing rod or take a dip in the lake or the nearby Lilla Hålsjön lake, which has a constructed bathing area with a pier.
Enjoy some of the many viewpoints and nature reserves like Liagärde, the cave known as Torkel's Hideout, Hyssna Old Church, and Lockö Mill.
