Lugnåsberget Ekohotell is located on the UNESCO-listed Lugnåsberget in Mariestad municipality. The accommodation offers two houses with a total of 7 rooms and 23 beds. In “The Red House”, there are 6 rooms with 18 beds and a private entrance on the ground floor. In “The Yellow House”, there is an apartment upstairs, 2 bedrooms with 6 beds, and a private entrance. All rooms have their own shower, toilet, and wifi. All guests have access to two self-catering kitchens, a large porch and garden, and a wood-fired sauna for relaxation.

For a great start to the day, you can order an organic breakfast basket and, in the evening, a dinner basket with local products. There are also nearby farm shops and local producers for locally sourced shopping. Lugnåsberget Ekohotell is pet-friendly, so your family's four-legged friends are also welcome. Welcome to the Lugnåsberget biosphere reserve!

During your scenic stay, you can enjoy both the Vänern Archipelago Biosphere Reserve with Kinnekulle and the Plateau Mountains Geopark. Go cycling in the vast forest or along winding gravel roads. Hike in the biosphere reserve or along the Stonecutter's Trail. Visit Qvarnstensgruvan, which is a museum, visitor mine, and café amid nature. In the forest lake Vristulven, you can swim, look for beavers, fish, paddle, or take a quiet evening dip.

Sustainable development

Lugnåsberget Ekohotell actively works with environmentally friendly sustainability. There are three charging stations, and solar panels provide energy year-round. A pellet stove heats the yellow house, and the facility has a biological purification plant. Additionally, the eco-hotel's large grounds are maintained by grazing sheep during the summer. Welcome!
