In Mariestad's harbor there is an outside padel court, open for everyone to book. Padel is a sport that can be compared to a mixture of tennis and squash. There is also an indoor arena in Mariestad.
Padel court outdoors
The padel court is in the harbour, centrally located in Mariestad. Padel (or padel tennis) is a racket sport played on a court with two halves of the court and a net in between. However, the court is surrounded by glass walls which you are also allowed to use in the game.
The course can be booked by anyone. You can rent rackets and balls or bring your own equipment. Racks for rent are available at Hotell Vänerport on Hamngatan, opposite the padel court.
Padel court indoors
Mariestad's Padelarena with indoor courts is located at Milstensgatan 8 in central Mariestad. Upstairs you can have a free cup of coffee or buy an ice cream and just hang out with padel friends. There are vending machines for the purchase of balls, tapes, sports drinks and bars.
