The Café på Klostret lies in a beautiful setting near to Blomberg and Kinnekulle hill. Many people make the journey here for its special atmosphere and to enjoy its wide range of home-baked breads and cakes in the rustic barn.
Countryside coffee and cakes with carefully selected ingredients
Café på Klostret is a “countryside kitchen,” full of fragrance, flavours, visual and tactile experiences and lots of consideration for its customers – in a nutshell, all the essential parts of cooking beyond everyday routines.
“I have prepared food for many years using carefully selected ingredients to deliver a local, fresh and exciting culinary experience,” says the café owner, Lena Svedung.

Freshly baked bread and cakes to enjoy in the café or to take away
The moment you step into the barn you are surrounded by a lovely rustic environment and the fragrance of a wide variety of freshly baked bread and cakes. Different kinds of bread rolls, brioches, muffins, rye bread, ramsons loaf and sourdough bread are just a few examples of the fresh products served daily. Filling sandwiches and tasty soups are also included on the menu. The coffee is high-quality as you would expect from Swedish coffee culture, and of course the whole range of items can be bought as a take-away.
