Råda Ås is a recreation and outdoor area located about 5 kilometers west of the city center. In addition to three exercise tracks, an outdoor gym, and a viewpoint, there are four hiking trails. At the viewpoint, there are information boards about culture, nature, and geology, as well as picnic tables and barbecue spots. All trails are family-friendly, with three of them being themed trails focusing on nature, water, geology, and culture. The fourth trail is the Farm Trail, which invites a stop at the Urban Farm for a cozy time with the animals.

The four trails are the Culture Trail, Nature Trail, Water & Geology Trail, and the Farm Trail. The first three trails traverse Råda Ås, a magnificent gravel ridge formed during the last Ice Age. The terrain is occasionally hilly, and the vegetation consists of mixed forest. Most of the ridge is covered by coniferous forest, while deciduous forest remains in areas that were once a cultural landscape. Information signs along the trails provide details about what you encounter.
The Farm Trail starts from the Urban Farm and offers a chance to enjoy some time with the animals, adding a unique experience to your visit.

How to get here:
Public Transportation: Västtrafik bus 3, Resecentrum - Råda. Get off at the Råda Kyrka stop and walk about 350 meters to Råda Vy. To reach the Urban Farm, get off at the Renvägen stop instead.
Car/Bike: Distance is approximately 7.5 km from Lidköping. Drive towards Råda School/Church.
