Hallaleden Hiking trail
Kinnekulle
The trail is part of the Kinnekulle Hiking Trail and passes by Lasses Grotta, an exciting and fun spot for both adults and children. Therefore, this short trail is perfect for the whole family!
There are several cozy spots along the Hallaleden trail where you can set up your picnic basket. Near the cave, there is also a shelter with a grilling area.
Head up towards Lasses Grotta and pass it as you climb the slope. Above the cave, take a left and follow the blue trail. After about 1.5 km, the trail intersects with the orange trail (Kinnekulleleden). At this point, turn around and follow the orange trail back towards Lasses Grotta.

How to get here:
**By Public Transport:** Take Västtrafik Bus 116 (Lidköping-Husaby-Götene) and get off at the Kvarnegården bus stop. Then, walk along the road towards Husaby and turn left onto the gravel road at the small blue sign on the left side of the ditch that reads "Lasse i bergets grotta." The walk from the bus stop to Lasses Grotta is approximately 1 km.
**By Car:** Drive on Route 44 towards Mariestad, pass the turnoff for Källby, continue towards Mariestad, and then turn left towards Husaby. Drive for just over 1 km on this road and look for the small blue sign on the left side of the ditch that reads "Lasse i bergets grotta." Turn left onto the gravel road, and after about 500 meters, you will reach the parking area in the forest clearing.
