A delightful cycling tour in Kungälv. The route begins in central Kungälv and takes you through diverse landscapes along the Göta River, the forests of Svartedalen, and the sea.
The entire route is on asphalt but can be extended for those with MTBs or Gravel bikes to 57 km trough Timmervik and with a opportunity to take seaside baths.

Start your bike journey in central Kungälv. The approximately 54 km route takes you through the cityscape with cobblestone streets and the cultural treasure of Bohus Fortress, continuing along the Göta River, where you can visit the Marieberg farm shop. Continue through the forests of Svartedalen on country roads with wonderfully challenging hills and winding, flat, scenic asphalt roads. Along the western parts of the route, you'll always be close to the sea and can easily take a detour for a swim.
At Jörlanda, if you're cycling on an MTB or Gravel bike, you can extend your ride by heading down to Timmervik.
If you're in the mood for a delicious Swedish fika, take a short detour to Skåra Gårds Bageri. You can also pick up some tasty treats and cycle down to Rörtången for a refreshing dip in the sea. Nearby, you'll find Christina Berggren's farm shop, offering both coffee breaks and shopping. Then, make your way back to central Kungälv via Kareby.
Finish your ride at one of the many delightful cafes and restaurants in central Kungälv, such as Oscars Hamburgerbar.
