Sun, sea & swimming

This is the Swedish west coast at its very best. Smooth rocks, secluded bays and sandy beaches surrounded by a glittering sea. Snorkelling

Wearing a diving mask you glide across meadows of swaying sea-grass, swim through kelp forests and explore colourful rock faces. There are many nice places to swim around the islands.

Dogs and swimming area

Sometimes it can be nice to bring your dog to the beach, but you must consider the following since the Koster Island is a nature reserve and the dog must be on a leash all the time!

  • Important to show respect and remember that there are people who are afraid of dogs or allergic to dogs.
  • For everyone´s comfort it is recommended that you keep your dog aside and away from public swimming and where many people bathe.
