In Karlsborg you can find multiple guest harbors connected to the canal, and there is a lot of space for visiting boats.
Göta canals guest harbor in Karlsborg have 15 guest spots outside of the bridge in Vättern and 15 guest spots inside of the bridge on the nortside, where guest harbor service is. Here is a total of 16 electrical outlets and access to water.
On the Västra kanalholmen there are 20 guest spots on the south side of the harbor in Strömmen, with a dept of 2,0 and 1,5 meter. Here they have 20 electrical outlets and access to water on the deck. Only one step away, with walking access over the bridge you find the guest harbor service Centre, by the northern harbor.
By the southern pier you find a sea gas station, with gas, diesel and environmental fuel. The gas station has an atm.
In the harbor you find drinking water, WC, shower, laundry room, a place to empty the sceptic tank, and latrine sink. Grocery store, ATM, and liquor store is within walking distance, and in the harbor you find the tourist Centre, coffee shops, restaurants, hotels, miniature golf and camper areas.
In the harbor you also find the local sailors club CSS: guest harbor. This harbor is not included in the canal price.

Guest harbor Vättern, Stonepier - Karlsborg
In the bay of Karlsborg in Vättern you see the Stonepier guset harbor, only one step away from Karlsborg's fortress. It was here all the limestone for the fortress arrived. The harbor has a total of 200 spots, and 40 of those are for guests.
The Stonepier is a powerful wave protection for all boats furthest out on the harbor.
Is not included in the Göta canal free guest harbors.

Guest harbor Forsvik, Göta Canal
The guest harbor in Forsvik is located in the center of society, where Göta Canals first floodgate was built in 1813. Connected to the harbor you find interesting tourist attractions, like Forsviks workshop. Forsviks Café and Mat serves homemade food with a garden dinning right by the canal, and next to the floodgate you find the craft shop 5 knop.
Here is a total of 12 guest spots, where 10 have access to electrical outlet. Drinking water, WC, shower, laundry room and trailer ramp is accessible for the harbor guests. You also find coffee shops and restaurants close by.

Guest harbor CSS Karlsborg
CSS guest harbor is located where Göta canals western part connects with Vättern - on the inside of the bridge in Bottensjön.
During 2017 the guest harbor is open from the 24th of June to the 17th of September.

Please note! The guest harbor is not included in the Göta canal free guest harbors.
This harbor is placed at CSS clubhouse, with bbq, tables and chairs, and big lawns to play or relax on. You have access to electrical outlets, toilets, showers, laundry machine and dryer - everything is included in the price.
At CSS you also have access to a boat crane that lifts up to 15 tons (a separate fee applies)
