About the accomodation

At present, the accommodation offers 4 double rooms, all carefully renovated in a 19th-century style. Each room is uniquely decorated and inviting. Besides the rooms, there is 'The Salon' - a common area where you can relax. In this shared space, you'll find a refrigerator, kettle, and tableware, along with magazines and board games. Breakfast can be enjoyed here, or you can take your breakfast out into the garden or take a short walk to Hjo City Park to enjoy your morning meal with the fresh breeze from Lake Vättern.

The rooms and the Salon are located on the second floor of the house, accessible only by stairs. Hosts Mattias and Caroline reside on the ground floor.

Location

This B&B is situated just north of Stora Torget (The Main Square) in Hjo. Villa Vivat is one of the historically significant wooden villas around Hjo City Park, dating back to the late 1800s. The surroundings invite pleasant walks, with a hundred meters' distance to the City Park and a few hundred meters to Hjo Harbor with Guldkrok Bath's sandy beach and pool area.

Villa Vivat Bed & Breakfast is located on Ängsgatan, 'just across the road' from Hjo City Park and only a short walk from the old wooden house neighborhood. In the neighborhood around the square, you can wander among the charming cobblestone streets and alleys, where the award-winning wooden houses from the 17th and 18th centuries stand.
