Security:

MTB Arena Guidelines

  • Everyone should have fun – be considerate and keep a safe distance.
  • Protect yourself from falls – helmets are mandatory.
  • The MTB arena (trails) is designed for cycling – do not walk on the tracks.
  • Follow the designated riding direction and do not stop in the middle of the track.
  • Dispose of your trash properly – use the nearest bin.

4 Tips for Longer Rides in the Forest

  1. Bring plenty of water – the nearest water source may be far away.
  2. Keep in mind that you move quickly on your bike, but walking back takes much longer. Bring a small repair kit in case of a flat tire.
  3. Wear glasses – branches and mosquitoes can be painful if they hit your eyes.
  4. For a more comfortable ride, invest in padded cycling shorts!

Marking:

There are marked longer trails (green, blue, and red) designed for cycling and MTB (mountain biking). There is also a designated compact MTB arena with trails. The trails and MTB arena start and finish at the Högaliden Outdoor Recreation Area, near the clubhouse.

  • Green Trail (Easy to Moderate) – Suitable for those new to MTB or looking for an easier ride.
  • Blue Trail (Moderate to Difficult) – Ideal for riders with some MTB experience who want more challenges.
  • Red Trail (Moderate to Difficult) – A technically and physically demanding trail, best suited for experienced MTB riders.
