Swimming with your dog

At several locations in Hjo, it's permitted for your four-legged friend to take a refreshing swim as well. Here are som tips.
Dogs are allowed to swim at:
- The beach promenade - south of the market square along the street Jönköpingsvägen
- Skolbryggan - jetty at the end of street Sjögatan
- Southern pier in Hjo harbor
- The beach "Stämmorna" at the lake Mullsjön, northern side of the lake
- Outside of peak season, dogs are also allowed to swim at public bathing spots.
Swimming with your dog - things to consider:
During the period from April 30th to September 1st, it's not permitted to swim with dogs at Hjo's public bathing spots.
Please remember that dogs should be kept on a leash, and it's important to clean up after your dog.
