HERRLJUNGA HEMBYGDSPARK
Herrljunga
In the beautiful nature on the slope towards the river Nossan at Haraberget in Herrljunga lies Hembygdsparken. In the surrounding area there are several older houses where the stories sit in the walls and things tells stories about the cultural heritage of the countryside.
Herrljunga folklorepark
Visit the Folklore park with 15 elderly buildnings, it´s including a station house, probably Sweden's oldest, a schoolhouse, transformer, etc.
Museum with collection of agricultural objects and other old things. Trolley and agricultural museum with old horse carriages, 2nd floor farmer's different seasons. There is also an Herb garden.
The park is open for the public al year around and during the summer there i several event going on in the park. For christmas there is a traditional christmasmarket event in the park.
