Camping by the sea

Liseberg’s camping Askim Strand is a summer campsite that is open from April to the end of August. It is right next to the sea on the southern outskirts of Gothenburg. Askimsbadet is within easy walking distance and is one of the city's most popular family beaches. For those who prefer to swim from the rocks or off a pier, the peninsula of Marholmen is only a short walk away.

Large area with good services

Bring your caravan, motorhome or tent, or stay at the hostel. There are over 400 pitches, most of which have an electricity supply. The reception area has a grocery shop with fresh bread every day. The service buildings are equipped with kitchens and TV rooms, showers and toilets. Laundry facilities and a sauna are also available.

Lots of fun activities

There are many green areas for games on the campsite, a lovely playground and a playroom for younger children. If you’re lucky you’ll see the Liseberg rabbits, which occasionally pay us a visit. The campsite also has adventure golf and a boulodrome.

Visit Liseberg Amusement Park

You can reach the centre of Gothenburg and Liseberg, the largest amusement park in Scandinavia, in about 15 minutes. There you can enjoy adrenaline-pumping rollercoasters and children's favourite carousels, slot machines, chocolate wheels, stage shows, several nice restaurants and a lot more besides. If you buy your entrance ticket and pass at the campsite reception you can start on the amusements as soon as you get to Liseberg.

Tip

If you want to go camping in the autumn and winter the Lisebergsbyn camping is open all four seasons.
