Flottarleden is a gem in the Dalsland countryside. The trail, which is very scenic, stretches from Färgelanda into Bohuslän and Kaserna. You can start paddling either in Ellenösjön / Östersjön or Vassbotten in Munkedal municipality. The trail is a distance of about 3 kilometers and you can calculate about 3 days incl. return home, if you want to paddle the whole stretch. Of course, one can also choose to paddle only certain parts of the Flottarleden. Along the road there are camp sites, barbecue facilities etc.

In Ellenösjön / Östersjön there are also good fishing opportunities, see www.fiskeland.se. Fishing license required.
