Sillerud church

One of the most beautiful churches along the canal
Sillerud's church is one of several examples of Emil Langlet's architectural creations.
Langlet was inspired by the idea of the central church and created hexagonal churches without specially marked chancels. Over the middle of the church room he placed the bell tower. The church in Sillerud was built in 1888 and then replaced a demolished wooden church, from which several furniture was taken over, including an altar project from 1727.
