Christmas Markets in West Sweden 2024

Traditional Christmas market with Swedish crafts and foods at Gunnebo House. Gunnebo House and Gardens is one of Sweden's finest 18th century estates, beautifully located between the lakes Stensjön and Rådasjön in the town of Mölndal, about 10 minutes south of Gothenburg. The exhibitors can be found in the main building and its two wings. The coffee shop and restaurant are open all day, and hot drinks and snacks are also served outside.

Christmas Market at Tofta Mansion

Kungälv

Tofta Manor is situated about 30 minutes north of Gothenburg, just outside Kungälv. Here you can get into the Christmas spirit in the old grain store. Craftsmen and food producers display and sell their products. On offer are for example ceramics, woodwork, wrought-iron goods, silver jewellery and various textile products. If you're interested in food, you can buy mustard, marzipan, different jams and marmalades, game, home-baked bread and much more.

In Tofta Distillery you'll find a Christmas Café with delicious home-baked cakes, sandwiches, light meals, and a genuine Christmas spirit. Pony rides are available for children.

Come and get a foretaste of Christmas during the first weekend of advent, with experiences, delicious treats, shopping and activities. The whole area around Nääs Fabriker is characterized by attention to detail, and a respectful conservation of the original charm of this former cotton mill. It is a lively destination that has a lot to offer in the form of trendy boutiques, a hotel, restaurant, café and deli.

Christmas Market at Nordens Ark

Old-fashioned Christmas celebrations, and Christmas market, including Christmas carols and dancing around the Christmas tree, a visit from Father Christmas and Christmas trees, crafts etc. to buy. Tombolas and much more. In the café you can enjoy a Christmas meal and the traditional Swedish Christmas drink, glögg, among other things.

Nordens Ark, which is about 1.5 hours north of Gothenburg, is a nature park of generous proportions, with a diverse flora, where you can see threatened animal species from all over the world. Everything from old Scandinavian breeds to wild animals and exotic species from places with a climate similar to that in Scandinavia.

Food and decorations at Falbygdens Osteria

Falköping

People come to Falbygdens Osteria from near and far to experience the lovely atmosphere and buy cheese, deli products and Christmas decorations. Most visitors also call in to the restaurant to try the popular cheese buffet or have a cup of coffee with something freshly baked.

Old-fashioned Christmas at Nääs Castle

At Nääs Castle, the grand Christmas tree is traditionally decorated in the castle's hall, and tour visitors can learn about Christmas in the past.

Mulled wine is served in the historic castle kitchen, there are holiday adventures for the whole family, and horse-drawn carriage rides. Enjoy the charming atmosphere in the Nääs Castle shop and the old-fashioned coffee house, along with a Christmas market in the old stable.
