Feel nature’s calm while canoeing through Europe's finest lake system, with its clean air, fresh water and deep forests. Listen to the strange call of the black-throated diver birds and watch elk striding proudly along the lake’s edge. Spend the night in the nature or at the Hemgården Hotel & hostel.
Being close to land and water
Starting from Silverlake, get to know the Dalsland countryside from the water or from the land. It's easier to rent canoes, kayaks, bikes and equipment than taking it all with you. To round it all off, you can go on a railway push trolley tour.
Overnight close to nature
You can choose to sleep indoors or outdoors. If you want to go for comfort in Bengtsfors centre, stay in the Hemgården hotel and hostel. Or buy a nature reserve card and spend the night at any of the many camp sites in the lake system.
