Öjemossen located southwest of Bäckefors, on the border between Bengtsfors and Färgelanda municipalities. Öjemossen is one of the county's finest wetland areas. The vast moss plan is substantially entirely bare and are characterized by rich varying surface textures. The Bird life on Öjemossen is very rich with several nesting Birds species including curlew, sandpiper, golden plover and loon.
How to get there:
Öjemossen is located west of road 172 between Högsäter and Bäckefors. The village Råggärd is located south of the moss. The easiest way to reach Öjemossen is by the small road north of the reserve.
